Itineraries
Day 1
Gaze in wonder at the most famous stone circle in the world, Stonehenge
Marvel at the immense scale of Bath’s Georgian terraces, its majestic Abbey cathedral, and its Roman history
You depart central London early in the morning. The city’s grand buildings fade into open green spaces as you travel towards the town of Windsor, your first stop of the day.
Here, you can choose to either discover the opulent architecture and royal furniture of Windsor Castle* or amble around the cobbled streets of the historic market town.
You then leave one of the grandest sites of the Modern Era and head to one greatest marvels of the Neolithic Period, Stonehenge. The outstanding stones transport you to a long-forgotten world and the visitor center gives you a glimpse into the creation of this strange artifact. For lunch, there’s a great café boasting pasties, beers, and lovely local produce.
Your final stop of the day is Bath. You arrive late afternoon - go for an evening stroll, eat supper by the waterways, and get a good night’s rest.
